If you’re currently passing out flyers and business cards, allow me to give you some time-saving advice…
Marketing this way is generally ineffective for three reasons:
– It takes a LOT of time…
– It is not targeted prospecting…
-It is not trackable.
Time is the most valuable asset that you and I possess yet most don’t appreciate it until later in life.
Well, we believe we have all the time in the world to do things so we take it for granted.
Note: Most of us tend to value money more than time when it should be the opposite. We can ALWAYS make more money but never “make” more time. Once it is gone…it is gone forever!
So, how you market your business shows how you value your time and if you are out passing out flyers to hopefully get lucky to have one person call you back, you could be marketing in a way that will have 10 times the people being exposed to your business 24/7.
The marketing strategies you are using MUST be trackable…meaning, you need to know how many people actually went to your site, as a result of getting a flyer and who made a decision to join as a result of the flyer/card.
For the most part, people just crumble up your flyers, and your cards get lost at the bottom of their purse/bag, or thrown away.
If you’re going to put in effort to get your offer in front of people, there are two things you need to be doing in order to start recruiting on a regular basis…
1.) Finding TARGETED prospects (or have them FIND You Instead)
2.) Capturing THEIR INFO, so you can follow up

DID YOU KNOW that the ‘Direct Sales Association’ said that in today’s world, it takes an average of 9 exposures to a product, service, or opportunity, for someone to take action?
Key Point – The key to increasing exposure to your program, is to send your prospects multiple follow-up messages… and the best way to do that, is through e-mail.
It allows you to get immediate feedback as to the effectiveness of your marketing.
The challenge is, that if you can’t successfully deliver and track your email, then how would you know how well it’s working?
And how can you send and deliver email in today’s world filled with spam?
I’ll get to that in a second, but first, a quick question…
What do all the top marketers require before you can see the sales page?
They all have a web page called a “Lead Capture” or “Squeeze Page” as the first page of their website like below.
We’ll stick with the term “Lead Capture Page” for the purpose of this message. The main and only objective of the “Lead Capture Page”, is to capture the contact information from a lead (which is why they call it a “Lead Capture Page”).
This is done with the sole purpose to follow up with the prospect … repeatedly! And since the “Sales Page” is where they sell their products, then why wouldn’t they just send prospects directly to the sales page?
The answer is simple … the FORTUNE is in the FOLLOW UP!
Anyone can build a successful business. I wouldn’t be telling you this unless I KNEW it was true.
